What is best career after 12th science in 2019?

Hello Friends, I am very confused that what should I do after 12th? I am a science math student. Please help me to get the best career option after intermediate.

Best course/career option for science and Math students after 12th


There are a plethora of options to choose from if you have chosen Math/Science in 12th class.

  1. Engineering

You can pursue Engineering from IITs – (Indian Institute of Technology) or other reputed Universities across India such as:

B.Tech in Computer science and Engineering/Information Technology /Aerospace/Automobile Engineering/Aerospace/Data Sciences/Avionics/Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineer/Electrical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering and many more

Duration: 4 years 

  1. Medicine

If you are partial to science, especially Biology, tag the MBBS line (Medicine).  There is tough competition though.

Duration: 5 and ½ years

  1. Pharmacy

You can also do a B.Pharm course (4 years) or a diploma in Pharmacy if you are interested in the Chemistry part of Science

  1. Architecture

This is an interesting option which trains students to plan design and construct physical structures.   The duration of B.Arch.  course is 5 years.

  1. Geology

Geology is a study of Earth.  It can be pursued by opting for B.Sc. or PG diploma in Environmental or Engineering Geology.

  1. Nursing

If Nursing is your calling then enroll for Diploma in Nursing or Degree in nursing.

  1. Commercial Pilot

If you want to fly high, take up Commercial Pilot training course – BSc.in Aviation from the best Aviation Institutes in India.

  1. Teaching

If you want to choose a noble profession like Teaching, then obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science streams and later pursue B.Ed course which is for 2 years.

  1. Merchant Navy

To join Merchant Navy as Deck Cadets PCM is enough.  For Senior posts, you need to do an engineering course in Marine Engineering.

  1. Humanities

One thing, a plus over Arts and Commerce graduates, is that is you can choose both sciences as well as non-Science options at this level.

Choose from the Hospitality industry, Journalism, Animation, Fine Arts, MBA. Psychology, Textile Design, Fashion Design and more….
